Community Guidelines

Guiding principles of dignity, empathy, stigma-free peer solidarity, and safe sharing.

This document transparently reflects the technical and privacy architecture of BipolarSocial. Statutory operator entities will be finalized prior to public launch.

1. More Than a Diagnosis: Dignity & Respect

Nobody in our community is defined solely by a diagnosis. Our creativity, art, travels, humor, and shared humanity are celebrated with equal warmth.

2. Lived Experience Over Medical Prescriptions

Share what helped you personally as lived experience ("In my experience..."). Never prescribe, alter dosage, or give medical directives to fellow members.

3. Crisis Safety & Protecting Life

In acute distress, verified emergency hotlines take precedence. Graphic descriptions of self-harm or suicide methods are strictly prohibited.

Emergency Note

BipolarSocial is not an emergency provider. In crisis call 144 / 143 (CH), 112 (EU), or 988 (US).
