Regional Privacy Rights
Specific jurisdictional rights for users in the EU, Switzerland, UK, US, Brazil, and Australia.
This document transparently reflects the technical and privacy architecture of BipolarSocial. Statutory operator entities will be finalized prior to public launch.
1. European Union & EEA (GDPR Rights)
Right of Access (Art. 15): Obtain a full structured copy of your personal data (available via self-service JSON export in profile).
Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Update or correct any inaccurate personal details.
Right to Erasure (Art. 17): Instant, irreversible deletion of account and all linked contributions via profile settings.
Right to Data Portability (Art. 20), Right to Object (Art. 21), and right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
2. Switzerland (FADP / nDSG Rights)
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG Arts. 25-29), Swiss residents have rights of access, data surrender/transmission (Art. 28), and erasure.

3. United Kingdom (UK GDPR)
UK residents enjoy equivalent rights of access, correction, and erasure under UK GDPR. Regulatory authority: Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
4. United States (California CCPA/CPRA & COPPA)
No Sale of Data: BipolarSocial NEVER sells or shares personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Sensitive Personal Information is strictly limited to user-requested peer solidarity interactions.
Age Restriction: Strictly for adults aged 18+. No collection of children’s data pursuant to COPPA.
5. Brazil (LGPD) & Australia (Privacy Act)
Full compliance with Brazil LGPD Art. 18 rights and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs 12-13) for access and deletion.
